Fire Rips Kalari Settlement, Deepens Crisis

A huge fire burned through three villages in Borno State, killing three people and leaving more than 3,000 people without homes. The fire started around 1:00 PM and burned down over 1,500 houses made of straw. Soldiers from the 222 Battalion helped people who were hurt and took the most serious cases to the hospital in military ambulances.
