Myanmar fire officials began specialized training for 30 personnel on Monday at a Nay Pyi Taw station to prepare crews for emerging challenges. Director-General U Myat Thu said the four-week program aims to balance workforce strength with modern equipment and digital systems used by international firefighting agencies. Students will learn current rescue techniques and practice issuing safety certificates through the department's web-based platform. The course runs until November 13 at the Zabuthiri Township facility.
