Zimbabwe's ruling Zanu-PF party selected Freedom Murechu as its unopposed nominee for the Nkulumane Constituency parliamentary seat following incumbent legislator Desire Moyo's October 10 death in a traffic collision. Provincial information secretary Archie Chiponda confirmed that Murechu, currently serving as Bulawayo youth chairperson and shadow representative for the district, submitted the sole candidacy after regional officials solicited expressions of interest.
