Gabriel Heinze Set to Join Arsenal's Coaching Staff for 2025-2026 Season

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta plans to bring Gabriel Heinze onto his coaching team before next season starts. The former Manchester United defender will take over from Carlos Queiroz who just left for a new job. Queiroz moved to Italy where he became the main coach at Parma. Arteta wants fresh blood on his staff as Arsenal prepares for another campaign. The Spanish manager believes Heinze brings exactly what the team needs.

Arteta and Heinze know each other well from their playing days together. Both men shared the pitch at Paris Saint-Germain during the 2001 season. That friendship could help them work together smoothly at Arsenal. The Argentine defender turned coach has plenty of experience from his time at different clubs. Heinze spent years learning the coaching trade after hanging up his boots.

The 47-year-old coach worked at several teams across different countries. Heinze managed Godoy Cruz and Atlanta United before taking charge at Newell's Old Boys. He left that Argentine club last November after just one year there. His coaching career shows he likes moving between different challenges. Arteta thinks Heinze can add something special to the Arsenal setup.

Albert Stuivenberg currently works as Arteta's main assistant at the London club. Nico Govaerts handles all the set piece training for the squad. Inaki Cana takes care of the goalkeepers and their development. Heinze will join this group when the new season approaches. The coaching staff continues to grow under Arteta's leadership.
