George wins unanimous nod as chief in Jaman North

The Jaman North District has a new leader! Assembly members voted for Adane George as District Chief Executive. All 39 representatives voted yes for the President's choice, showing total support for George.

The 55-year-old, who holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Education, Winneba, brings solid education credentials. He previously headed monitoring at the District Education Office. During his acceptance speech, George thanked the President for believing in him and promised to serve with honesty.

George plans to create a thriving district where everyone can access good schools, healthcare, roads, plus economic chances. He aims to provide strong leadership that promotes lasting growth. The district also elected Kwans Abel as Presiding Member with 73% approval from voters.

Bono Regional Minister Joseph Addae Akwaboa called George a go-getter who will push forward the national reset agenda. He asked assembly members, chiefs, plus community groups to help the new DCE achieve development goals. The Minister emphasized that traditional leaders must play important roles for Jaman North to progress properly.
