RAM Media Concepts started a new talent show at Alliance Française in Accra last Friday night. The Adamfopa Talent Quest aims to connect Ghanaian artists with people from Ghana living abroad. Famous musicians like Samini, Jupitar, and Bessa Simons came to the launch party. Mr Augustine Mark from RAM Media said the show helps young talents find their roots. He believes this project will grow tourism and make Ghana more famous for its art.
The contest began in France last year with 26 people trying out. Only nine moved to the final round after judges picked the best acts. Winners will record music in European studios and earn money prizes. The show accepts singers, dancers, actors, comedians, rappers, and acrobats from Ghana and other countries. Mr Mark thanked many groups for helping create the program. The event ended with music shows from local groups. This contest will finish with a big show in Europe where all performers can share Ghanaian culture through their art.
