Global Cash Crowd Floods Kampala in Equity Bank Mission

Equity Bank brought more than 40 foreign investors to Uganda for business meetings after finishing similar work with Tanzania. The visitors came from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Private companies, development groups, and money managers want to find new opportunities to invest. Dr. James Mwangi leads Equity Group and says the mission connects world money with local business opportunities. The bank wants to create jobs and help economies grow across Africa.

Investors will spend two days visiting different companies and meeting government officials. They plan to look at farms, energy projects, tourism spots, and factories around Kampala. Business people hope to start partnerships focused on dairy processing, medicine making, and clothing production. Mining companies and technology firms also interest the foreign delegates. The mission helps small Ugandan businesses reach customers from other countries.

Equity Bank has organized many similar investor trips to places like Vietnam, India, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. These efforts brought billions of dollars to the region and created thousands of new jobs. The bank supports the African Free Continental Trade Area Agreement, which makes business easier between African nations. Equity Group wants to help 100 million people and businesses across the continent during the next six years.
