Glucose Academy plans Sokode school quiz

A community youth group named Glucose Academy, in partnership with the Ho Municipal Education Directorate, will conduct its fifth annual quiz competition for local junior high schools. The event aims to foster academic excellence and improve technological literacy among students in the Sokode area.

The initiative also addresses a critical lack of information and communication technology tools by providing desktop computers to schools. Organizers explained that many students lack the resources to compete effectively in the digital world. They are appealing for public support, noting that each computer costs 2,400 Ghana cedis.

The group emphasized that every contribution would help bridge the digital divide and empower young minds. They believe providing digital tools is essential for modern learning and will allow students to innovate and succeed in a technology-driven future.
