Governor Kundi demands immediate NADRA service expansion in KP

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi conducted discussions with NADRA Chairman Lt. Gen. Muhammad Munir Afsar regarding identity documentation services throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The provincial leader highlighted inadequate NADRA presence in distant territories such as Tehsil Paharpur within Dera Ismail Khan district. Remote communities face significant barriers when accessing basic documentation services. Women, elderly residents, and disabled persons encounter particular hardships traveling extensive distances for identity cards. The governor demanded immediate service expansion to reach underserved populations.

Chairman Afsar is committed to deploying additional mobile registration vehicles across isolated regions. Local government consultations will commence shortly to establish permanent NADRA facilities in strategic locations. Dedicated service counters will accommodate women, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. The officials addressed computerized national identity cards, birth certificates, child registrations, and family record modifications. Kundi praised NADRA's digital transformation efforts and cybersecurity measures that enhance institutional effectiveness.
