Governor Otti promises to free Kanu at any cost

The governor of Abia state, Alex Otti, has asserted that he initiated measures to secure Nnamdi Kanu's release while the IPOB leader's trial was still proceeding. Governor Otti stated he was activating a pre-arranged strategy to obtain Kanu's freedom, despite a recent life imprisonment sentence handed down by Justice James Omotosho at the Federal High Court in Abuja. He added that he had communicated certain agreements reached with the nation's highest authorities, following his visit with Kanu at the DSS facility in Abuja.
