Guruve killer hunt heats up, police offer cash for tip

Cops are hunting a serial killer terrorizing a rural district. Police in Zimbabwe are searching for Anymore Zvitsva, a thirty-two-year-old man suspected of murdering twelve people in Guruve since October. Authorities are using drones, dogs, and tactical teams in the manhunt and have offered a cash reward for information. ZRP spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi warned anyone helping the fugitive would also face arrest.

The suspect is linked to a series of brutal nighttime attacks that have forced entire families to flee their homes and sleep in groups for safety. Recent victims include a mother and her teenage daughter killed in Bhosha Village, a fifty-five-year-old woman and an infant slain at a farm, and five members of the same family, including young children, murdered at Ona Mapeto Farm. Zvitsva is also connected to the killing of a woman and her two children in Zimuna Village.
