Guruve serial killer suspect remanded after hospital bed boasts

A wounded serial killer just flexed about surpassing his family's murder record. Anymore Zvitsva faced a Harare magistrate from a hospital bed after cops shot his leg during a massive manhunt. Authorities accuse this guy of slaying at least a dozen people across Mashonaland Central. The suspect allegedly told officials that riding a helicopter after capture meant he outdid his dad.

Police believe the spree spanned nearly two years within Guruve and Mvurwi. Tactics supposedly involved using snare wire or poison with machetes to ambush victims inside their homes or grazing fields. One alleged confession involved wiping out a whole family and a baby because nobody could look after the kid.

The charges list Jane Dube as an early victim who got chased into corn fields. Other terrible incidents involve Alice Marangarire getting strangled while herding cattle. Detectives also link Zvitsva to the deaths of Stacey Pulango and Alret Kayn alongside a brutal raid on Ona Farm that killed five relatives.

Magistrate Vakayi Douglas Chikwekwe denied bail since the accused knows the mountains well. This man stays locked up until mid-January.
