Highlanders boss quits over invoice scandal

Brian Moyo quit as head of the Highlanders after just four months because of money problems. The soccer club started investigating claims that he cheated them out of cash. They say he added extra money to bills and kept it for himself.

Highlanders needed to pay another team, Bulawayo Chiefs, $18,000 for two players. But Moyo signed papers saying they should pay $23,000 instead. People think he pocketed the extra $5,000 difference. The club told everyone they accepted his walking away but would keep checking what happened.

The team already lost their previous leader when Sihlangu Dlodlo passed away. They must find someone new again real fast. This makes four different bosses running things at the Highlanders in barely more than one year. The club promised fans they would handle everything properly.

Many supporters worry about all these quick changes at the top. Money problems make things worse for the famous soccer team. The club wants to make sure nothing like this happens again. They need someone honest to take charge next time around.

Leaders said they would take all the right steps to fix this mess. They want everyone who loves the team to know they take these money accusations very seriously. Finding stable leadership matters most right now for the Highlanders.
