Highlanders CEO quits over dodgy deal

Brian Moyo, the head honcho at Highlanders Football Club, has hit the road. He's in hot water over some shady deals involving a couple of players from the Bulawayo Chiefs. Moyo brought them on after the Highlanders got the boot from the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League last season.

Word on the street is that Moyo inflated the price tag and slipped $5,000 into his own pocket. The official bill said $23,000, but the real cost for both players was only $18,000. The club gave Moyo the green light to split, but they're not letting him off the hook that easily.

Kenneth Mhlophe, the big cheese at Highlanders, spilled the beans. He said they're cool with Moyo hitting the bricks, but they're still gonna dig into the whole mess. Mhlophe wants everyone to know they're playing by the rules.

Before Moyo, Sihlangu Dlodlo was running the show. But Dlodlo kicked the bucket under some weird circumstances last year, and it really rattled the soccer world. These days, Ronald Moyo, another ex-Highlanders boss, is doing the same gig over at Scottland FC.

The fans and big wigs are pretty upset about the whole thing. Highlanders is trying to clean up its act and keep everything above board. It wants to make sure the fans know it's not messing around when it comes to dealing with Moyo.
