HOFA's new SYSTEM DigiDestroy inflicts digital audio damage

HOFA-Plugins released SYSTEM DigiDestroy as the latest component of their modular plugin series. The bitcrusher software targets producers, sound designers, and audio engineers who require vintage character and experimental sound effects. DigiDestroy creates raw digital textures through adjustable bit depth and sample rate reduction capabilities. The plugin generates artifacts ranging from gentle retro aesthetics to aggressive digital distortion. Anti-aliasing filters reduce unwanted artifacts, while jitter control adds random sampling fluctuations.

The digital clipper provides three processing modes for different distortion characteristics. Hard clipping delivers direct, powerful distortion, while fold mode creates complex metallic textures through signal folding. Wrap mode produces aggressive distortion with unpredictable harmonic content. HOFA SYSTEM platform contains over thirty effect modules spanning equalization, compression, reverb, and modulation tools. The modular environment supports drag-and-drop routing with parallel and serial processing options.

SYSTEM DigiDestroy operates on macOS and Windows systems supporting VST3, AU, and AAX formats. HOFA offers core functions through a freeware version alongside a complete edition priced at thirty euros during the introductory period.
