Homeboyz sack Pritchard after poor run

Soccer club Kigezi Homeboyz fired their Scottish coach after poor game results. The team announced that Stephen Pritchard would leave right away, but thanked him for his work. Assistant coach Aggrey Madoi will take over until the club finds someone permanent. Other staff members will help Madoi lead the team through the rest of their games.

Pritchard coached for just 99 days after signing a contract in January. The team had hired him to replace Denis Tushabe, who moved up to technical director. The club hoped this change would help them reach the Uganda Premier League. During his short time as coach, Pritchard saw the team win twice, tie four games, and lose three times. The club sat in 11th place when he started, but fell to 13th place with 22 points when he left.
