Ibrahim Tanko Hits Out At Referees After Costly Penalty

Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko criticized referee decisions after losing 3-2 to Asante Kotoko on Sunday. The coach avoided direct attacks against match officials but showed clear frustration about how events unfolded. Tanko pointed to a foul before Kotoko received their penalty kick. He accepted the referee choices despite disagreeing with some calls. The coach said officials made their decisions and teams must live with those outcomes.

Tanko praised his players for creating many scoring chances during the match. Medeama threatened early and could have scored two or three goals after their first strike. The team showed attacking spirit throughout the game against their opponents. Players fought hard but could not secure victory at the final whistle. Medeama ranks seventh with 50 points heading toward their last league match against Berekum Chelsea.
