Ikorodu City go top after a 2-1 win over Plateau United

Ikorodu City claimed top position in the Nigeria Premier Football League standings following a 2-1 victory against Plateau United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, while Wikki Tourists secured their first road triumph of the campaign by defeating nine-time champions Enyimba 1-0. Joseph Arumala and Alade Balogun scored for the Oga Boys, who accumulated 24 points from 13 matches to surpass Nasarawa United on goal difference after the latter managed only a 1-1 draw against Kun Khalifat.

Abubakar Aliyu's strike lifted Wikki Tourists to seventh place despite sustained attacking pressure from the hosts at the Enyimba Stadium. Rivers United moved into third position with a 2-1 result over Warri Wolves, maintaining a game in hand. Niger Tornadoes defeated Katsina United 2-0, El Kanemi Warriors blanked Kwara United by an identical margin, and Bayelsa United edged Abia Warriors 2-1.
