India crushes Namibia, junior women storm World Cup opener

India's junior women absolutely demolished Namibia 13-0 in their opening match at the FIH Junior Women's World Cup in Santiago. Six different players found the back of the net, with Hina Bano and Kanika Siwach each putting up hat tricks while Sakshi Rana grabbed two goals. The team jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, piling on the pressure through all four periods.

The Indians controlled possession from the opening whistle and kept Namibia pinned in their own end for most of the game. They converted multiple penalty corners and capitalized on loose balls around the goal. Their next matchup is against Germany.
