Jackie Shroff celebrates Tabu’s birthday, Phone Bhoot milestone

Actor Jackie Shroff marked the 54th birthday of National Award winner Tabu on Tuesday while simultaneously celebrating the third anniversary of his supernatural comedy Phone Bhoot. Shroff posted a video compilation featuring images of Tabu set to Boondon Se Baaten from the 1996 film Thakshak, in which she starred alongside Ajay Devgn. The actors previously worked together in pictures such as Kohram and 2001: Do Hazaar Ek.

Shroff also highlighted a clip from Phone Bhoot, the 2022 release directed by Gurmmeet Singh that featured Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The picture follows two entrepreneurs who launch a ghost-catching service inspired by childhood tales, only to face peril when they must honor a commitment made to a supernatural entity.

The veteran performer will next appear in Ahmed Khan's Welcome To The Jungle, a comedy featuring an extensive ensemble cast with Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty and numerous other Bollywood personalities. Shroff frequently uses his social media presence to acknowledge professional milestones and greet colleagues from the film industry. He recently commemorated one year since the release of Singham Again, the fifth entry in Rohit Shetty's police-themed cinematic universe.
