Jamsai Foundation donates learning materials to Lower Badibou schools

Jamsai Foundation distributed educational supplies to two Lower Badibou schools on November 5. The Kotu-based organization provided footwear, backpacks, Qurans, and garments to Toroba Arabic School, while Kerr Ardo Basic Cycle School received textbooks, notebooks, shoes, bags, and clothing. Foundation representative Demba Sanyang stated the donations reflected Islamic principles of charity and urged fair distribution to disadvantaged pupils.

Sanyang acknowledged supporters, enabling the foundation to assist both secular and religious institutions. Kerr Ardo, principal, Sambou Minteh, called the aid valuable for improving classroom outcomes and requested further help for underprivileged learners. Toroba Arabic School head Abubacarr Fatty and community leader Aja Isatou Jallow expressed gratitude for the practical support. Village committee chair Ismaila Bah additionally appealed for construction assistance to upgrade the school kitchen and strengthen its feeding program. The foundation continues prioritizing educational welfare across Gambia's northern regions.
