Kamaldeen Slays as PFA Community Champ

Southampton honored Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana as their PFA Community Champion for 2024/25. The 23-year-old player earned recognition for his outstanding work helping people off the field. Meg Collett received the same award for the women's team. Saints Foundation Managing Director Sam Fulling praised both players for their dedication to community service. The foundation felt grateful that both teams participated actively during the season.

Sulemana finished his third year with Southampton after joining from French club Stade Rennes. He played 30 games across all competitions and scored two goals with three assists. The team faced relegation to the Championship despite individual efforts from players like Sulemana. His performance helped the club during a difficult campaign that ended in disappointment.

The Ghana international missed recent tournament action but should return for important World Cup qualifying matches. Ghana faces Mali and Chad during September as they attempt to reach the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Sulemana represents a key player for the Black Stars national team. His club form and community work show his commitment both on and off the pitch. The winger continues building his reputation as a complete professional footballer.
