Kamaldeen Sulemana Pledges Full Commitment After Atalanta Move

Kamaldeen Sulemana has joined Atalanta after leaving Southampton behind. The Ghana winger signed a four-year contract with the Italian club on Wednesday. The deal gives Atalanta the chance to keep him for another season after that. The 23-year-old player moved from the English Championship team to Serie A. He feels excited about starting fresh with his new team.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate loves what he sees at his new home. Sulemana toured the training grounds and felt impressed with everything around him. The facilities caught his attention right away during his first visit. He promised to work hard for the supporters and wants them to love him. The winger hopes to become a fan favorite in Bergamo.

Injuries hurt Sulemana during his time playing for Southampton. He struggled to stay healthy throughout most of his English football career. Last season proved difficult as he managed just two goals and three assists across 30 matches. Southampton dropped down to the Championship after losing their Premier League status. The team faced relegation despite his efforts on the field.

Sulemana reunites with Ivan Juric at Atalanta after working together before. The coach knows the player well from their previous partnership. This connection should help the Ghana international settle into his new surroundings quickly. Sulemana wants to prove himself worthy of the faith shown in him. He aims to meet the high expectations that come with joining such a competitive club.
