Kano State distributed five billion naira to retired government workers and deceased employees' families through its fifth installment payment. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf presented symbolic checks at the Government House on Wednesday to beneficiaries awaiting their entitlements. The administration plans to eliminate all outstanding obligations before his term concludes in 2027. More than six thousand pensioners from the total twelve thousand have received complete compensation.
