Zimbabwe will host the 2025 Domestic Tourism Festive Season Campaign launch in Kariba on Friday at Lake Harvest Sports Club. The event carries the theme Experience Zimbabwe-Nhaka Yedu, Ilifa Lethu, and aims to encourage local travel across the country this holiday season. Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Barbara Rwodzi and Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Marian Chombo will attend the ceremony.
Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality director Elyson Chigerwe said Mashonaland West Province has completed preparations for the campaign. The initiative follows last year's ZimBho festive season promotion, which aimed to boost domestic tourism. Organizers want Zimbabweans to discover the nation's cultural and natural attractions through local travel opportunities.
