Kartik Aaryan prayed at Ujjain temple after National Award

Winning big apparently sent Kartik Aaryan straight into gratitude mode. After scoring Best Actor at the 72nd National Film Awards for Chandu Champion, he headed to Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Temple with his parents. The family joined Shayan Aarti, prayed before Baba Mahakal, and kept the whole visit deeply low-key.

Inside Nandi Hall, folded hands replaced the usual celebrity flex before he approached the inner shrine. Online clips caught the scene, while his white T-shirt and blue jeans made the dress code refreshingly regular-guy energy.

Kabir Khan directed Chandu Champion, with Kartik portraying Murlikant Petkar, India’s pioneering Paralympic gold medalist. Earlier, an Instagram video captured Kartik yelling in disbelief when the award result landed, then hugging both parents. His emotional mother kissed his cheek, and his message basically said the years-long dream still felt unreal.
