Fabian Kasi will serve as District Governor for Rotary Clubs in District 9213 during 2027-2028. The announcement came at the Rotary District Conference closing event held at the Civil Service College in Jinja. As District Governor, Kasi must provide leadership to Rotary clubs under the RI Board of Directors. He is also the Managing Director of Centenary Bank.
Kasi started his Rotary journey in 2005 when he joined the Rotary Club of Kiwatule. He became club president in 2011, when he also took his current bank position. His bank strongly supports Rotary causes, including the Cancer Run. They have donated over UGX 3 billion since the event began.
The bank pledged another UGX 500 million this year. Their contributions helped build a cancer center and a Rotary Blood Bank. Centenary Bank gives 2 percent of its yearly profit to community projects. Under his leadership, many bank employees have become Rotarians.
