Centenary Boss Turns Rotary Green with 3000 Trees

At a special ceremony on Saturday, Dr. Fabian Kasi, the Centenary Bank boss and future Rotary District Governor, spoke to community leaders about helping others. The banker visited Kasangati for the event and told new club presidents that good leaders serve their communities first. The banker reminded everyone that real leadership creates lasting change for many people. Leaders must work hard and make sacrifices to help their towns succeed.

During the celebration, Percy Lubega became the new president of the Rotary Club of Bulindo. Three other men also received important jobs at the Kasangati and Bulindo clubs. Lubega promised his team would focus on community projects across Uganda and beyond. The new president said his club already has plans ready for its first major effort. Dr. Kasi promised to support their environmental work with money and resources.

The visiting banker gave the clubs 3,000 tree seedlings to plant around their area and donated 10 million shillings through his bank branch for conservation projects. Local officials and club members attended the evening ceremony together. Everyone celebrated the handover of leadership roles and renewed their commitment to serving others.
