Kenya Power plans to turn off electricity this Sunday around the country. They need time to fix some stuff on their system. Four counties face outages from morning until evening. Folks in Nairobi, Machakos, Kisumu, and Tana River can expect darkness between 9 AM and 5 PM.
People who live near Babadogo Road or run businesses at Impala might need flashlights. Several companies, such as Kiwi Brand, Regal Pharmaceutical, Dawanol, and Dogra, will have no electricity all day. Premier Industries, Premier Food, Chandaria, Jubilee Tissue, and Police Logistics must prepare for darkness. The same goes for Aztec, Razco, Pepsi, and Lysons Maid, plus everybody who lives close by.
If Machakos people live around Apex or Athi River Makadara, they should make Sunday plans without electricity. The blackout will hit the Mutongoni area hard, along with businesses at Ad Pack and KMC Factory. Star Sheikh, St. Paul's, and all houses nearby face the same problem throughout the daylight hours on Sunday.
Kisumu residents around Manyatta Sije and Manyatta Koyango should remember the Sunday outage date. Guests staying at Sansora Hotel must know about these plans ahead of time.
