A nomination was filed for Khaleda Zia in Dinajpur. The BNP chairperson's papers for the Dinajpur-3 constituency were submitted to the district returning officer's office around five in the afternoon. Dinajpur district BNP President Md Mofazzal Hossain Dulal and General Secretary Bokhtiar Ahmed Kochi handed over the form with other party members present. Deputy Commissioner Rafiqul Islam accepted the nomination.
