Tarique Rahman signed papers to run in two seats. The BNP's acting chairman will be the party's candidate for both Dhaka-17 and Bogura-6 in the upcoming national election. He signed the nomination forms at the BNP's Gulshan office on Sunday evening with constituency coordinators present. Earlier that day, Khaleda Zia's private secretary collected the nomination form for Dhaka-17 from the divisional commissioner's office.
The party had previously collected a form for him for Bogura-7 last month. His completed papers for the two constituencies are set to be submitted on Monday.
