The Gambia Immigration Department caught three people who took twin kids from Brikama in the West Coast Region. These kids were headed to school Monday morning when people from a taxi marked 3648 grabbed them. This caused fear across the area. Everyone wanted quick action from security forces.
The dad of these kids ran with two helpers, but officers stopped them at Dimbaya Immigration Station as they tried to leave the country. The GID spokesperson, Siman Lowe, told The Voice newspaper about this arrest. Mohamadou Jallow said he was the father, and his helpers were Amadou Kanteh and Isatou Jallow from Senegal.
