King Promise Vows to Crush Global Afrobeats Scene

King Promise wants to bring Ghanaian sounds to people worldwide. The singer won Artist of the Year at the recent Telecel Ghana Music Awards. He talked about his music goals on TV3 yesterday. He sees Afrobeats as music from Africa that speaks to everyone. His tours have reached places where few African artists perform.

He became the first African musician to play concerts in parts of Asia such as Singapore. Fans filled venues in Japan when he performed there. His shows reached Bahrain, Dubai, Australia, Europe, and America. He believes music can connect with listeners who may not understand his language. R2Bees inspired him to create songs for both local audiences and people living far from Ghana.

Promise explained that his music carries his Ghanaian identity but remains open to all cultures. People hear where he comes from through his sounds without needing to know what every word means. The award winner continues traveling with his Ghanaian heritage as his foundation. He represents African music breaking through borders across continents.
