The campaign director spoke on Zodiak Television on Tuesday night and said established networks across the nation kept MCP as the strongest opposition force through three decades outside government. Kunkuyu acknowledged voters abandoned the party after leaders failed to address food access, fuel supplies, and currency problems that raised costs for basic goods. He claimed the Democratic Progressive Party government under Arthur Peter Mutharika continues the same struggles with citizens still waiting in queues at fuel stations.
