Leapwing Audio has released an updated version of its vocal processing software that brings several technical improvements to the platform. The company says UltraVox 2 features six refined algorithms designed to help music producers achieve professional vocal quality through compression, gating, de-essing, harmonic enhancement, air effects and reverberation capabilities.
The latest release introduces a custom impulse response reverb system that combines hall, plate and chamber acoustics for spatial processing. Engineers also developed a frequency-time analysis tool for the de-esser module that addresses sibilance while maintaining tonal characteristics. The interface has been redesigned for improved usability.
The plugin supports Windows 8 through 10 and macOS 10.13 or later systems in VST2, AU and AAX formats. Leapwing is offering introductory pricing of 34 British pounds or 39 euros through early December, with complimentary upgrades for existing users and a trial period available.
