Two ousted energy bosses just got their legal battles mashed into one mega-lawsuit. The High Court of Malawi ordered that Kamkwamba Kumwenda and Chrispin Banda must face the music together regarding their removal from the Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi. Attorney General Frank Mbeta argued that letting them proceed separately might lead to conflicting rulings from different courtrooms.
Kumwenda previously held the top CEO spot while Banda managed human resources before the state redeployed them.
