Tantallon Estates, also called Nyore Nyore Housing Scheme, will open soon for residents of Manyame. Bitumen World crews are putting the final touches on streets throughout the area. Pinnacle Properties started this project to help the government build affordable houses for everybody. After they finish this first one in Mashonaland East, they plan to create similar neighborhoods across Zimbabwe.
Reporters visited the construction site yesterday. They watched road crews laying pavement all around Manyame District. Engineer Munyaradzi Meki told them his team would finish early. His workers had already built about seven kilometers of roads. They expect to wrap up everything before April. They just started putting down the road base. Services should start going in within days because the weather looks clear.
Minister Daniel Garwe recently brought some officials to check out the housing lots. He explained how the government works with Pinnacle Property Holdings on this project. Bitumen World handles all the roads and drainage systems. Everything must pass strict checks before anyone can buy land or build houses there.
According to Minister Garwe, President Mnangagwa will officially open the project soon. The government already decided to buy twenty thousand lots for government employees. Government engineers team up daily with Bitumen World to make sure everything goes right. Dr. Philip Chiyangwa heads the housing project. He talks a lot about how the government wants to improve lives by creating decent housing.
This huge project aims to create 250 000 homes. Plans include regular house lots, apartment buildings, and shopping centers. Anyone can apply for these homes, not just government workers. This helps fix the housing shortage problem across Zimbabwe. The whole project matches perfectly with what Zimbabwe wants to achieve for future growth.
