Marabha family still sorting burial plans

The family of comedian Charles Mapalume, known as Marabha, has not finished making funeral plans because they want all relatives to arrive first. Marabha died Saturday morning at a hospital after being sick for a long time. He was divorced with three young children. People have gathered at his brother's home in Epworth to mourn.

Family spokesperson Samuel Manjalima asked for help with funeral costs. They need to wait for everyone to arrive before deciding about the burial. Freddy Kapfupi Manjalima, a close friend, feels very sad about losing Marabha. He promised to help care for Marabha's children. Many famous people visited Epworth to share their sadness.

Marabha became sick after someone hurt him badly in 2017, causing head injuries. He kept going to hospitals until he died. He became famous in the early 2000s working with Kapfupi, Blessing Vingirai, Jeffrey Chikweshere, Rumbidzai Vingirai, and Precious Kabrito. Their street plays appeared on ZBCTV. Later, the group split up. Marabha tried starting his projects, but they did not succeed. He often worked with Kapfupi to earn money.
