Marshall Munetsi says he alone fixed Wolves' leaky defence

Marshall Munetsi talks about how much better he plays since joining Wolves from French team Stade de Reims. The midfielder moved to England during the January transfer window and became a key player right away. He played 14 games for his new club and ran more than any other Premier League player per match. His hard work helped Wolves stay away from relegation trouble. The Zimbabwe star scored two goals during his first few months at the club.

Munetsi explains what his manager wanted him to bring to the team when they signed him. The coach knew about his special skills as a midfielder who can both defend and attack well. He covers lots of ground during matches and helps his teammates on both ends of the field. The player wishes he could have scored more goals with the chances he had. Football does not always work out the way players want it to happen.

The African midfielder believes he made the team much stronger since arriving at Wolves. His defensive work helped the club stop letting other teams score easy goals. The squad was giving up too many points before he joined them. Munetsi also helps when his team attacks and tries to score. All the players learned how to work better together under the system they use.
