A hotel service training program, supported by the Mandalay Region Government and organized with the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism, has concluded with a graduation ceremony in Meiktila. The two-week course provided instruction to 73 trainees in food and beverage services and roomkeeping.
Mandalay Region Minister for Economic Affairs U Thein Htay delivered an opening address and presented certificates to the trainers. Director U Zaw Myo Latt and other officials from the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism then presented certificates to the graduating trainees. The initiative was designed to support the regional tourism industry through human resource development.
A separate graduation ceremony for an identical training course was subsequently held in PyinOoLwin.
