St. Petersburg warns locals and tourists about metro changes on May 9. Eight stations face special rules during the 80th Victory Day celebrations.
Admiralteyskaya station allows only exits from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Both Ploshchad Aleksandra Nevskogo stations run from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Ploshchad Vosstaniya lobby 1 operates from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The second lobby at Ploshchad Vosstaniya stays open from 1 to 2:40 p.m.
Mayakovskaya shuts down completely from 2 to 3 p.m., and no trains stop there. Gostiny Dvor remains open until 11 p.m., and staff make changes based on crowd size. Gorkovskaya allows only exits from 9 to 10 p.m.
The metro service announced vestibule two at Nevsky Prospekt would be closed entirely on May 9. Vestibule 1 permits only entries. Officials asked travelers to use the nearby Gostiny Dvor station during these times.
