Milind Soman cheers grandmas racing past stereotypes

Milind Soman showed up at a grandmother's 10K run in Chembur, organized by Zydus Pinkathon and talked about ditching the whole idea that older women should just stay home baking bread. Over 50 senior women ran the race at Vivekanand Education Society grounds, and the Paurashpur actor said people need to see that hitting 60 or 70 doesn't mean you're done doing stuff.

His wife, Ankita Konwar, who founded Invincible Women, pointed out these weren't pro athletes. They were regular women who got inspired watching each other and figured they could do it themselves. The whole thing was about changing how people think about getting old in urban India.

Milind recently worked on The Royals web series, where he discussed fitness instead of acting.
