Minister Muntaka visits Sgt. Akocha, shot foiling Accra robbery

Interior Minister Mohammed Mubaric Muntaka visited the Police Hospital to see Sergeant Akocha Samuel. The officer suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and leg during an anti-robbery operation in La. His unit arrested two suspects while others escaped and remain at large. Medical staff continue treating his serious injuries as he recovers.

The Minister commended the sergeant's brave actions during the dangerous mission. Muntaka expressed the nation's gratitude for such dedicated service to Ghana. He directed hospital staff to provide excellent medical treatment for the wounded officer. The government supports all personnel who risk their lives protecting citizens.
