Ministry Approves Preliminary Plan to Establish BCS Information Academy

Bangladesh will build a new training center for government information workers. The Information Ministry made this choice during a recent meeting. Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam led the discussion about creating the BCS Information Academy. Officials want to place the school somewhere in Dhaka city. The project will begin under the current temporary government.

The academy aims to teach better skills to people who work in information services. Alam told ministry workers to start planning for the new school. He believes the training center will help government employees do their jobs better. The academy will focus on improving how officials handle public information tasks. Ministry leaders hope the school will raise professional standards across the sector.

Secretary Mahbuba Farjana promised her department will work hard to make the academy real. She spoke about the ministry's commitment to building the training facility. Government officials believe the school will fill an important need for specialized education. The Information Ministry sees the academy as a way to modernize its workforce. Leaders want to give employees access to current training methods.

The BCS Information Association praised the government's choice to create the academy. Association President Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin expressed support for the plan. General Secretary Md Mamun Or Rashid also thanked government leaders for their decision. The association represents workers who would benefit from academy training. Both officials believe the school will improve their profession.
