Mnangagwa Gets Real with Zanu PF on Future of Zimbabwe

President Mnangagwa talked to his Zanu PF buddies at their main office Wednesday during a big party meeting. He told everyone they needed to care more about regular Zimbabweans. "We must walk alongside the people, understand their challenges, and work towards uplifting their livelihoods," he said. He wants party members to pay attention to what regular citizens actually need.

He made it clear that Zimbabwe would stick to its constitution and stay independent. "Zimbabwe will forever be a constitutional democracy and sovereign nation," he declared to the room. He talked about everyone living together peacefully. Then he switched languages and added something that basically means troublemakers will fall behind as Zimbabwe keeps moving forward. He seemed to aim these words at Blessed Geza, a war veteran who had recently criticized him.
