Zimbabwe's Binga District has achieved substantial progress through the presidential development initiative launched to uplift marginalized communities. The government completed two health clinics and rehabilitated the district mortuary while adding infrastructure at the industrial training college and establishing boarding schools. President Emmerson Mnangagwa provided two ambulances and oversaw the completion of irrigation projects near Gwayi-Shangani and the rehabilitation of the airstrip runway. Information Minister Jenfan Muswere announced these advances during Tuesday's Cabinet briefing in Harare.

The Cabinet also authorized the Community Share Ownership Trust Framework, designed to stimulate rural industrialization and attract investment in agricultural processing.
