Mnangagwa Lays Down the Law in Patriotic Power Play

President Mnangagwa told everyone that nothing can stop Zimbabwe from becoming better and more modern. He shared this message at a special place called the National Heroes Acre, where they were saying goodbye to a brave man named Tinaye Chigudu.

The President wants all people in Zimbabwe to work hard and make their country great by 2030. He believes everyone needs to stay focused on what matters most—making Zimbabwe better for all its people. He asked Zimbabweans living both inside and outside the country to work together like one big family.

The President dreams of making Zimbabwe a rich country where people can live happy lives. He said everyone must help build the country piece by piece, just like building with bricks and stones. He wants Zimbabwe to shine brighter than ever before.

He reminded people they must keep working hard because there is still much more to do. He said Zimbabweans should feel proud and confident because they are strong, independent African people. Their flag and national song help them remember who they are and what they stand for.

The President then talked about Mr. Chigudu, who had just passed away. Mr. Chigudu was a brave person who fought to make Zimbabwe free. He trained in North Korea and helped gather important information about people who were treating Zimbabweans unfairly. Even when bad people put him in prison for 12 years, he never gave up fighting for freedom.

After Zimbabwe became free in 1980, Mr. Chigudu worked very hard in important government jobs. He helped make the country better by working in areas like transportation, safety, and mining. The President said Mr. Chigudu was honest and wise, and young people should try to be like him.

Many important people came to say goodbye to Mr. Chigudu. The President asked all Zimbabweans to protect their country and keep making it better, just like Mr. Chigudu did throughout his life.
