Mnangagwa returnees meeting postponed again

Zimbabwe's ruling party postponed a major gathering with former opposition members originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, at Harare International Conference Centre. Blessing Chebundo, who directs the Zanu PF returnees program, attributed the delay to a scheduling conflict involving President Emmerson Mnangagwa and indicated organizers await confirmation of his availability for a future date.

The session was designed to accommodate 5,000 focal representatives from specialized sectors rather than the entire membership base, exceeding 250,000 individuals, alongside 300 invited attendees. Chebundo confirmed that preparations remain complete pending the establishment of the rescheduled timeframe.
