Angry people at a funeral killed a police officer on Sunday. This happened in Ibanda District during the burial of Lazarus Kahangire. The dead man had been locked up at Nyabuhikye Prison before he passed away. Officer Suleiman Chemonges came to watch over the funeral. He served at Bisheshe Police Station as part of his normal job.
