Mohammed Aminu has signed with Bechem United for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign after he departed from Manchester City. The 24-year-old midfielder initially transferred from the West Africa Football Academy to the English club in 2017 for a fee of £2 million. Manchester City released him after five years when he failed to secure regular first-team opportunities. Aminu views his return to Ghanaian football as a chance to rebuild his professional standing. The player believes criticism from supporters has strengthened his determination to succeed at his new club.
